This is for sure not an all inclusive list, but it’s a great start. Not in any particular order, these are books that we all have read and really grown from. Please add your comments on books that have spoken to you and I will update the list. This blog is a 2 way conversation, I hope you as much from me as I can learn from you.
Howard Schultz
This is probably one of my favorite books. While Howard Schultz didn’t start Starbucks, he most certainly made it what it is today. You can hate Starbucks, but this guy gets it when it comes to business. Bottom Line: If you don’t have an uncontainable passion for what you are doing, chances are you will fail.
David Meerman Scott
This great author goes far beyond technology and explores the ramification of the Internet as it pertains to people.he sets down a body of rules that shows you how to negotiate those ramifications with maximum effectiveness, and he does it with real-life histories and an engaging style. A must read author!
Jay Conrad Levinson
An absolute necessity for the small business owner. If you think marketing is left to your product supplier, you are leaving a LOT of money on the table. Bottom Line: Marketing, Marketing, Marketing…and then some more Marketing!
Harvey Mackay
Mr. Mackay is the first business author I ever read. Honestly, this guy has some amazing information and advice and I love his writing style. Bullet points, quick hitters, and to the point. You won’t go wrong with anything this guy has put out. Swim With The Sharks, Pushing The Envelope, and Beware The Naked Man are just a few titles that are simply AWESOME!
